GanttChart supports tasks with configurable start, end dates, and duration; split tasks composed of multiple parts scheduled as one logical unit; multiple independent tasks in a single row; milestones for key project events; and custom flag icons placed on specific dates with configurable tooltips.
GanttChart supports finish-to-start (FS), finish-to-finish (FF), start-to-start (SS), and start-to-finish (SF) dependency types, including multiple dependency types between two tasks. Dependency lags in all time units are supported. Circular and incorrect dependencies are automatically detected and highlighted. Dependencies can be created and modified by dragging between tasks.

Yes. In addition to the Gantt module, GanttChart includes a bar chart module designed for service and resource management, row-based task calendars, or any interactive row-based timeline. Multiple independent or dependent bars per row are supported, with automatic overlap detection and resolution. Bars can be created, resized, moved, and deleted by mouse dragging, and can be moved between rows or even between grids.
GanttChart supports project-level and task-level work calendars with configurable working hours, holidays, and exceptions. Calendar dates are visually highlighted in the chart using custom colors. RTL mode is available for Middle Eastern languages including Hijri dates and calendars.
Gantt headers are fully customizable with multiple time units and formats, and can appear at the top, bottom, or center of the grid. The chart supports zoom in/out with smooth zoom over a selected date range, custom zoom levels, color-coding by status or priority, progress indicators, baseline comparison, a "today" marker line, and background patterns for weekends and holidays.
GanttChart is built on the full TreeGrid engine, so all grid features are available: unlimited tree hierarchy, pivot tables with drag-and-drop configuration, Excel-style filtering and full-text search, multi-column sorting, aggregation functions, Excel-compatible formula engine with 200+ functions, conditional formatting, nested grids, master-detail layouts, and complete undo/redo support.
Data can be exported to XLSX (including the Gantt chart itself), CSV, PDF, and HTML with full formatting. Print-ready layouts with multi-page splitting and scaling are included. Import and export in XML and JSON formats are also supported for server-side integration.
